Alan Resigns from NPP

The former trade and industry Minister, Mr. Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen has officially announced his resignation from the NPP to contest for the high office of the President of the republic of Ghana as an independent candidate.

This, he said was necessitated by the hostility and constant attacks on his personality and folowers by the party.

He also cited the divisive nature of NPP as one of the reasons why he has decided to desociate himself from the party.

He further opined that he has left the party to form his own political party named, "Movement For Change", with a butterfly as it's logo.

He made this known to the public during his "Alan Speaks" conference which took place at  Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, at Accra on Tuesday, September 25, 2023.
